Skies

Mühlhausen has its own unique weather, people say. For someone from southern England like me the changing skies, the way huge cloud systems build up, the sunrises and sunsets are a constant fascination. The silhouettes of the many towers against lowering storm clouds, the city walls golden in evening sunshine, frost picking out each individual twig on the many trees, all this is quite different from anywhere else I know.
